Nikki Chang and Zachary Jenkins were each awarded travel grants from the Office of Student Research at Appalachian State University to present their research at the Society for Physics Students Quadrenial Physics Congress in Orlando, Florida. Chang presented her work on LabVIEW automated calibration of an optical tweezers system and Jenkins presented his work on Raman spectroscopy of proteins and other applications.
