Two BiyOSeF students were awarded research grants from the Office of Student Research at Appalachian State University. Jacob Cole was awarded a grant for his research in time-correlated fluorescence spectroscopy of microspheres and assorted proteins. Nikki Chang was awarded a travel grant to present her research on single nanoparticle temperature measurements within a membrane profiled with fluorescence and Raman spectroscopy at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
