A $151,246 institutional development grant has been awarded to Appalachian State University faculty from the N.C. Biotech Center (NCBC). This is the first NCBC award to Appalachian specifically for research in biotechnology. The grant will provide research equipment for projects being conducted by an interdisciplinary research team at Appalachian.
