Three BiyOSeF members were accepted for summer interships in 2015. Jacob Cole, Sam Migirditch and Ben Migirditch each traveled to different institutions to expand their research portfolios.

BiyOSeF memeber Evyn Lee recieved a North Carolina Space Grant from the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Appalachian State University. Evyn was awarded to grant in order to automate components in the BiyOSeF Raman-tweezer lab.

Dr. Jennifer Burris has received a Graduate Research Associate Mentoring Grant from the Cratis D. Williams School of Graduate Studies to fund gradaute research associates during the next two academic years.
